…. I thought you’d all like this board on Pinterest… 😍
Pastel is back (although it never really left) Ice Cream Hues & Sugary Shades. We will be looking like cotton candy…. A pastel hat or coat should be a subtle nod to this trend.
The lovers of bold colours should think along the lines of primary colours, specifically yellow.
Checked patterns are making a return, and again the bolder the better. Featuring more on key pieces, like blazers, tailored trousers or skirts.
Another loud pattern which should feature high in 2018, and not for the faint hearted… Bold botanical prints. Large jungle patterns, bright flowers, abstract scenery and touches of tropical animals.
There is a revival of 80’s culture, with fashion statements around power dressing… big shoulders, puffy sleeves, slouchy boots and high waists.
We also see the return of the ‘Bum Bag’ or as it has now been apparently renamed… the ‘Belt Bag’.
Other key pieces for the 2018 wardrobe include trench coats, lots of flat shoes, waist belts and tailored trouser suits.
Why not shop for shop accessories to compliment your new wardrobe now…? I’ve got some great botanical inspiration here at my store… Shop By Clicking Here…
Tights as Pants… It’s shocking but it does happens! However they just weren’t designed for this purpose!
Too Skimpy Separate pieces – In a nutshell, a mini skirt and a bandeau top are not even close to a complete outfit..
Barely there Cover-Ups – Like the ones that are all string and huge holes, there is just no point.
Double Denim… Everyone must know this one…
The Pattern Fail – Your outfit should never, ever look like it could double up as your guest room curtains.
So… we think we have all these lovely thing to look forward to for this season. Fresh from London fashion week so far we have…
— The Arm Cuff —
There where lots of new ways to wear bracelets. From multi layered statement pieces through to graphic shapes… above all the cuff stood out to us.
— Super Fine Choker and The Long Necklace —
The choker has not has its day, just refined… Think a thin strip of leather with a single pearl. On the other extreme Prada and Chanel had some beautiful examples of the sautoir (Long Necklace)
— Statement Earrings —
Statement earrings are works of art for the next season, with mixed futurist and graphic influences. We also saw the single oversized mono-earring!
— Themes —
Minerals played a huge part in the theme of new accessories this season we also saw a mix of pearls, gold spikes and maxi charms.
Very soon you will be able to shop a unique range of jewellery and accessories.
